This is a easily broken but essential item to allow use of a Hoover carpet cleaner as it locks down the plastic container that water goes into after it’s extracted from a carpet. It’s important to clean the unit each time it is used and periodically check the screen where water is drawn into main part of unit under the clear plastic extraction nozzle as well as the brushes that agitate carpet when water and detergent are applied and lifted. About 600 square feet of carpet takes an hour to dry so the average size house would be able to have all carpets dry in a few hours after using the carpet cleaner which comes with attachments to clean upholstery as well as instructions on how to use unit and the unit is about the size of a regular upright vacuum so it does not take up much space and it’s much easier to own a unit than to rent one that’s been used in many homes and may not have been cleaned between the times it was used. Cleaning solution is easily available online and pet and child safe cleaning solution is also available.
