Great little thing

Great little affordable machine!
Our family loves this little model. It's similar to the one we owned for about 10 years. It's got an updated look, nice color. The only reason we replaced the other is a part broke that kept it from printing anymore. The print response is quick. Very satisfied. You get what you pay for
There is no Quick Set up instructions with the printer and getting online is a hassle as well as less than helpful. To connect to my PC requires a code that the printer generates. After SIX attempts at guessing what was printed due to the extremely poor quality of the print I finally gave up. Picks right up with Linux Mint
I only needed the scanning function on this all in one printer. I run a Linux Mint os, and stand alone scanners can get very tricky when running Linux operating systems if not impossible to use in many cases, not to mention that a stand alone scanner can cost much more than an all in one which is much more compatible with Linux, so I went with this Deskjet 2640. My os picked it right up, no problem. I didn't even have to install the included ink cartridges for the scanner to operate, which is a plus. Ship packaging was awesome as well, and it arrived quickly within a few days.

Cheap but prints well
