While it was advertised to fit a '17 Wrangler Sahara, it did not fit just like most all of these grill inserts won't. The '17 and '18 Sahara have different size grill openings so I figured I would try this one since it was advertised to fit. As it turned out, the mesh screen was a close enough fit to look decent, but the brackets were not. I did some engineering changes to the way I mounted it and it looks good and is more secure than using the included brackets. I would not recommend this for a '17 or '18 Sahara unless you have some field engineering skills capable of making it work.

I was dreading the need to drill four holes in my grill, but that actually it was not all that bad. The tough part was getting the top of the grill with the screen installed back in place. I ended up flipping the top bolts up-side down then removing the radiator top shroud so that I could cut out small sections for bolt head clearance,and re-installed. While I was at it I drilled two detent holes for the bolt heads to drop into. I put a putty knife under the plastic so that I would not mark up the top radiator support as I drilled. It took me awhile to figure all of this out, but I could to another one in an hour. I am very pleased with the results.
