Good Reveiw for WD Passport Drives.
I find the design of the WD Passport to be well done. While it's basically a rectangle, all of the models are the same width, This leads to ease of stacking. I'm currently looking at approx. 20 in various storage sizes. They also come in a variety of colours, which makes organizing your data by types easy (I gave up on that idea because of buying the cheapest colours on sale). The downside is that the drive itself is integrated into the control card. In other words, if the USB connection fails, then you can't just pop the drive out of the enclosure and and put it in another box. While I have yet to face this issue, I can see it become a problem after repeated use as the USB connector develops "wiggle room".Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Perfect for XBOX ONE.....
It's perfect for my son's Xbox One S since I made the mistake and only got the 500 gig version this additional 1 terabyte seems to have solved most of the problems we might even upgrade to a 2tb from the exact same company. Works flawlessly, I plugged it in it prompted me to format the device I did so and immediately started transferring information and games to it. Perfect solution for us! We are also going to get one for our PS4 Pro. I promise you if you can get this item under $50 it's a good value! Good Value Software Not Great
I needed to back up a 1 TB HD on a PC I was selling or donating. The WD PP is very small and easy to plug in and use. My only problem is the back up software. I attempted to use it. It was very slow and still not sure if its there. I tried to plug it in to my other desktop pc. I was unable to recover my archived files. I gave up. So I erased the WD drive. I used Windows File Explorer to simply copy and paste my files on the WD drive. It did that quickly. I tested it on my other PC. No problem finding and transferring files to my other PC. So it served my purpose. I would not use as an automatic back up external drive unless you are using another back up software you have confidence in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
