A good bet for the technically proficient. Well documented and easy user maintenance/upgrade.
Purchasing a laser on ebay not for the faint of heart. I would only recommend for those with above average technical aptitude and willingness to do a lot of research in lieu of handholding you would expect on a typical retail purchase. That said, I am so far very pleased with my purchase of an OMtech from Orionmotortech, which according to the OMtech website is a 'sister company'. OMtech has active/informative FB community, good documentationm on OMtech web site, and tons of useful info from various Youtube enthusiasts. Don't waste money on air cleaner - a 500+ cfm inline fan routed outdoors really the only practical solution for weak stock fan. Also a SW or OMtech 5000 series chiller from Orion Motors a solid buy to ensure bulb life. Took a week to arrive via liftgate service, and was I impressed with the sturdy crating and packaging. Focus, beam alignment and bed level all spot on. Suggest third-party startup guide by lasers123 online. Only problem I had was laser shutdown in middle of job. Googled solution which turned out to be a loose door safety sensor.
