Spend the money, it's cheaper in the long run. Works like a good fan switch should.
I bought this to replace a different brand of sensor ( much cheaper than this one). But they are not cheaper if they quit working on you, which (2) of the cheaper did on me. This sensor is a OEM Polaris sensor, the wire harness is the correct length so that I did not need to re-route any wiring. This switch turns on @ about 190 deg. like it should. The cheap switch, turned on about 210+ deg.. just north of boiling. Wish I had just bought this item first. Would have saved hours of time.
