surface silver keyboard with surface pro 4
Pros: 1) lightweight and compact 2) well designed 3) really enjoy to type on it, to touch those keys 4) the only usb available on SP4 is free to use Cons: 1) experience some problems with connectivity. If I turn on my surface pro 4, i need to wait extra 7 seconds before i would be able to type password, cause pairing between PC and keyboard take a while. And i heard keyboard doesn't work in Bios whatever this Bios is. Sometimes i loose connection (if i stop working for 15 minutes, i guess) and again it takes 7-10 seconds to reconnect the keyboard. Works great with Surface Pro but not for everyone.

Great design but fell short on key press
I coming from the Microsoft designer keyboard always loved the key press on the designer keyboard. It had a nice rubbery kind of buttons and the press felt just the right amount. The surface keyboard buttons are more metallic and the press feels more like if a mechanical keyboard, however it's overall design is much better that's the old one where things were all cramped in while this one is well spaced while keeping a good foothold. The key press is to me the reason why I gave it 4 stars as I don't like the newer key presses. But it's subjective to everyone. I would expect at least a rechargeable keyboard and don't know why Microsoft went for AAA batteries version instead. Lags a little after not being used for awhile and you start typing again is my only complaint. Backlit keys would be cool, but understand it would greatly affect battery life. Good construction, sturdy. Set up was a breeze. However the lock key in the top right I have hit a few times accidentally causing my device to become locked in the middle of using it.
