The bigger screen is much easier to view than my two previous Garmins...(Nuvi and Street Pilot). Garmin Drive 61 Works Great
This is the GPS you should buy if you need a large 7" display. All Garmins work fine but you should buy this one if you find that your GPS is too small for you to readily make the correct decisions when you are driving. This one seems to work different from the Nuvi line that I am used to in that you have to put in the state each time you want to choose a location but other than that, I like the extra information it provides aboutroad obstructions and traffic patterns. GTM36 traffic receiver not compatible
I went to Garmin website to find out what’s the Model number of the live traffic receiver cord. I found out and bought the one that they say works with this gps to buy. I bought the GTM36 cord But the gps say it’s not compatible. Maybe it’s either the gps or the cord.

My first hundred miles
I had an older Garmin GPS and I liked it, but this new unit is even better. It's the small things that add up. Adjustable focus area, good when you are in a busy downtown area, less space taken up by non-necessary info, i.e. altimeter nice but why have it? Better vocal guidance. DOES NOT WORK WELL
i have inputted address that i know are valid (including my own home address) and this unit says no such address found.
