Perfect fit to replace a bad original 2009 Toyota Corolla horn
I purchased this item because it has the female electrical connector for a Toyota horn -- which plugged-in and worked perfectly with no wiring or connector changes.
The item comes with 2 horns; a high and a low pitch. I tested both, and the lower frequency horn sounded closest to the original, so that's the one I installed. Some cars have 2 horns, which apparently has a better sound, but mine did not, and there was not enough space to try and install a 2nd horn. Now I have a spare (the higher frequency one) if I ever need to replace another horn...
As shown in the item description picture and as delivered, the female wiring connector points out to the side. I did have to loosen a nut, rotate the horn so that the connector pointed down, and retighten the nut. Otherwise the original wire would not quite reach the horn, and it's probably best if the connection points down to help any water that gets into the connection to drain out.
15 minutes to figure out the original horn was bad, remove, reinstall, and test; and I saved at least $150 compared to taking it to a car repair shop!
