The Canon 6D has been on the market long enough that we all know what its value is. This is Canon's entry level into the full-frame line of Cameras. The features are similar to the 90D which makes it an easy transition for those moving up from a crop sensor. The low light level capabilities are the real value in this camera. The only drawback is for those moving up from crop sensor Canon units, any EF-S lenses cannot be used on the full-frame Canons without risking damage to the reflex mirror. Otherwise, there is no downside to this camera.

I bought the 6d Mark II to replace the 6d that I had been using. I loved the 6d, but wanted the additional features found on the Mark II, namely the articulating screen and the ability to take photos by touching a point on the screen, The menu screens are easy to understand and changes easily made for custom settings. Video refocus is fast.

I was using an 80D and wanted to move to full frame, so that I could capture low light images such as dark sky, which I couldn’t do adequately with my crop sensor camera. I can use a lower Iso and faster shutter speeds than my 80D would allow. So, the 6D ii meets my needs in every way, and for far less money than a 5D Mark IV or a mirrorless alternative.

As an amateur photographer going from an inexpensive DX class DSLR, to a full frame camera, it will take dome time to learn the features. So far this camera is well worth it in pairing to good quality wide angle lens for architectural photography.

So far, this camera has been really easy to adapt to after owning the 5D Mark II. The wireless photo transfer seems a little buggy at times, but overall, I really enjoy the camera.

The entire package is a great buy. I personally thought the camera would provide night and day quality images than my older cameras that are crop sensor. My expectations were far too high. For a starter full frame I guess this will have to be it.

Just an incredible DSLR camera in every respect. Relatively compact size and lightweight. Controls are excellent and articulating screen makes adjustments easy. I bought this as a backup camera to my RP and have been extremely happy with it.

Labeling this as an entry level full frame camera doesn't do this justice. Duel pixel feature for focusing is really great along with flip out screen. The challenge here with professional photographers is that using the features like touch screen and live view may make the photographer "look" unprofessional. The truth is that using these features will help get better shots. Put the ego's aside at let this camera do its job. The only pro drawback I can see is the single card slot. This camera is a winner.

Love the camera. Since I already had my L series lens, it was a logical choice for me. Mirrorless I read are better. Hard to tell how it could be better because the images on this camera are fantastic. What is better especially for me is the ergonomics of the camera. A great fit in my hand. The mirrorless seems too small. Very quiet shutter. It easy a bit lighter than my 7D. Well built.
