I like mutemath a lot but prefer the early releases. I still enjoy the later stuff, but they've evolved and changed their sound and that's not a bad thing. This release is similar to the previous album. Great writing, great grooves, great variety, and it'll grow on you if you give it a chance (like many well-written albums). Give it a try, and if you like the recent releases then definitely try their first self-titled (5-star) album.
