I am no mechanic, but have done some work on my own cars over the past 30 years or so. With that said, I was able to remove the old dual fan unit and get this one installed, without really knowing what I was doing, in about 2 hours and 45 minutes. Most of the time was removing and loosening various components and pieces to be able to remove it. These included the front plastic cover, the plactic air intake, radiator hose, the battery, some wires, and the computer module bracket so it could be moved back just far enough to slide the old part out and get the new one in. Then it was just remembering how to put it all back together. When it was all done, the car started and the fan works perfectly...a direct fit with no modifications.
