First, the only reason to buy a radiator this expensive is to address a flaw in the OEM and equivalent radiators installed in 2008-2010 f-x50 trucks with a 6.4 powerstroke diesel. That flaw is twofold - first is the lunacy of thinking plastic tanks crimped to a metal core would stay intact given the twisting and flexing forces imposed on it and second, that the stock isolators that the radiator sits on would be sufficient to appreciably mitigate those forces on ANY radiator. Mishimoto even admitted that this radiator could be prone to failure without addressing the second issue, so they now supply beefy replacement isolators with the radiator. Installation was fairly straight forward, as tasks like this are nowadays if you can find the right step-by-step video on YouTube and have your iPad near you as you work. The nice man (from Mishimoto) in the video said 3.5 hours. It took me more like 8, but I'm not a diesel mechanic and I tend to double-check as I go. I also installed a Prestone flush kit and a Mishimoto coolant filtration system while I was at it. With what I saw in one video about how contaminated coolant can tear up the water pump and it's housing, I thought that would be good to get done as well. Suffice it to say everything happened as they said it should and nothing leaked when I was done. So - worth more than twice the cost of a replacement OEM radiator? The logic of all-aluminum vice plastic crimped to metal is sound, it looks well built and it has a cool "M" painted on the front of it. So we'll have to see. My stock original radiator lasted 92K miles, so obviously I'm not the type to beat this truck up. I'll report back when and if I make it to 150K Dec 2021 update - well, it didn't make it to 150K miles. It developed a serious leak while on the highway pulling a trailer this month. Fortunately I was able to limp it back home, stopping every 5 miles or so to let the engine cool off. The odometer read 101K miles. That's 9K miles. Not so good and having something like this happen in the middle of winter is not what one would hope for. The good news is however that Mishimoto radiators have a lifetime warranty, and evidently they stand by their warranty. All they required was a picture of the S/N and proof-of-purchase and they sent me a new replacement! Still, it does leave me wondering if the vibrations in this truck are so severe and/or the radiator mounting is so poorly designed that no radiator would survive for long, or - did I just get a radiator off their production line with a latent defect. Changing the radiator out wasn't fun, but I'd done it before. All in all I'm still glad I bought this particular radiator.Read full review

If you don’t buy this product you will do more damage to your truck. If you use the OEM part you will damage your truck. If you use the OEM part you will break the OEM part plus you will do more damage to other parts. You can’t afford to use the OEM part. You need this part. This part is thicker and stronger and minimizes flex. The Original part from Ford is so weak and flimsy and inferior As your attorney , I am advising you to use this part .
