Add a foam insert of some sort, and voila, you're shipping records. Nice enough and durable build. A good value for record mailers. Holds 7" records, works best with some type of stiffener to keep record from shaking. Also have used them for t-shirts, CDs, and other "smalls". Awesome boxes to protect your vintage to today records!
I bought these when I was selling off our old collection of records (45s & Standard size). These boxes were the perfect size, fit snugly, and you can fit probably up to 5 a box while protecting your records for shipment. There was easy foldable areas for the boxes that were perforated so, no issues there. The price for a set of boxes on the otherhand was a little scary. Cheap for a reason - THIN cardboard.
These used to be very nice, but the latest shipment finds a switch of the cardboard used and it is now super thin and nearly worthless. The whole point is protecting 45s - well you better use four filler pads now. Frustrating because these used to be a great deal and decent cardboard.
