This is slower than 4.75 MB/sec on a cheap generic USB 2 flashdrive, and 8.2 GB/sec on an old SanDisk USB 2 metal flashdrive. The test was done on two separate units purchased from different vendors. The design is very minimal, not much space for labels. It's solid construction but not key-ring material. The included encryption software is simple and useful. Write speeds can be a bit slow in a Windows 7x64 environment depending on the file types and sizes. Encryption speeds are slow as well.
