    Works well but beware of a gotcha....

    The effects of this laser light are exactly as described. The brightness is perfect and colors are vivid. My only complaint is that after only a few hours of use (for DMX programming only) the focal lense on the laser diode came unscrewed and fell out of the diode case. Thankfully it was fairly straight forward to access it and screw back in. It did take more than an hour of work to refocus the laser and then I put a dab of hot glue on the threads to hopefully prevent this from happening again. You may want to do the same when yours arrives. The focal lense is by no means tight in the threads of the laser housing.
