GOOD QUALITY COPIER
The copy quality is good, and the scanner works good. Copies come out pretty fast. A few seconds after use, the unit goes into sleep mode, but opens back up quickly when you need it. I have not, and will not, be needing any of the other features so I cannot speak about them. I bought this copier because I had an old ImageClass copier that lasted for 12 years, so I am hoping that this one also lasts a long time. Once word of warning, since I bought this only for use as a copier and scanner, I did not expect that I would need a computer to set it up, but a computer is necessary to set up the scanning function. It is not hard, you download the included software to your computer, and then connect the unit to your computer, and the software then installs. But I did not know that this step was necessary when I bought the unit, and was confused for awhile. Also, if you intend to permanently connect the unit to a computer so you can fax and print from the computer, you may need to go to the Canon website to download specific driver software. Again, this will not be hard, but just expect to have to do this. The instructions tell you what to do.
