Received the newer revision (but without mounting pieces)
The listing states it is USB 3.0 Micro-B and the images reflect that, but I received the newer revision USB C model and was extremely pleased with that. The price was a steal for the older version and downright a steal for the newest USB-c variant. Looks brand new, never used, as does the OEM USB -c braided cable with optional USB-A converter dongled onto the wire. My only issue was the lack of a mounting clip or suction cu. both just completely missing. if i had to choose, I would rather have this USB-C version than mounting brackets, so I'm pleased greatly. This usb wifi adapter has the largest range of any others. pair that with its hardware capabilities and its a no brainer to buy.

I was able to get a hot spot WIFI service, where I can't get it with a regular wifi card on my 3 defferent Laptops. A little bulky, but worse every penny. I highly recommend this product. Specialy for 5.0 WiFi it is also good for 2,4 WiFi. Many of the wifi now are brosdcasting in 5.0mhz , so do not buy the privieus version of this device (like I did before to save money) The greedy ones pay thoce. Reghards.

....that's pretty goood! Lol, but seriously, it works pretty well. Unfortunately, 2 gripes against it keep it from a perfect 5/5: 1) This is on the manufacturers; they should have tried a different connection on the adapter (had a tendency to disconnect sometimes) 2) It can be a little iffy if the temperature where it's used is low (yet again, rare, but annoying) Otherwise; good product, great retailer, would buy from again!

This adapter is very good. Maybe the best I've had (vs SignalKing, Engenius, and other Alfa models), similar quality than Ubiquity picostation. It's not a cheap adapter but you can surf very fast, even with old routers with low signal. But if you use the ac band it really shines. It works well on Windows. On Linux it's quite difficult to install the drivers. And till now is not possible to use the monitor mode nor inject traffic nor use reaver. And the price here in ebay is better than in traditional stores.

airmom-ng method to put adapter on monitor mode doesn't work MAC adress randomly changed after evry plug on ParrotSec OS after opning the adapter everything is original compared to some thrusted websites so the problem maybe with the driver keep in mind that the test done on live boot of ParrotSec so I didn't reboot my machine and the driver used on test1 is the official and test2 a popular one from github with same result + I did that on 2.0 USB port (it's not a problem by the way). update : after testing it on windows 10 the mac address is original. SO the seller 100% trusted

I have several of these on my home and business network, they are very fast easy to setup and Alpha is top rated. My only peeve is the security, 128 is ok, however, I like to run 256 Bit or better AES' with a random key generator they are fairly safe. I would like to see greater security like up to 512 Bit, we must protect our networks and login information, fro all prying eyes, Even Bank and my Facebook Login Is 63 characters long or more, I have only been hacked once and it will never happen again, Overall great unit Highly Recommended for personal networks.

Great Wireless performance
The item is automatically detect in windows 10, not sure about other OSe's , drivers can be downloaded easily from the main company site. and installing is easy. The quality and range is superior, the advanced settings you can manage and optimize is extremely good. the performance even with 2.4 low quality router still reach 100+ and might even more, with better 5GHZ router it can reach a lot more. It's cheap, great performer wifi adapter and even though the only disadvantage is very short cable.

Awesome WiFi Antenna
This is an awesome long range WiFi antenna. It increased my internet speed on my laptop by an insane amount. Before I got this antenna, I had upload and download speeds of about 20 Mbps. I now have a download speed of around 50 Mbps and an upload speed of around 30 Mbps. It was definitely a good investment. I had an older version of this Alfa Wifi antenna and I can tell you they always make a good product. I was happy to buy this new model.
