The design is similar to two others on the market, has similar voltage power and same cutting wheel, but what makes the Ryobi stand out is the ergonomics of the bend/shape of the handle. The shape allows your hand to have a more natural angle when pushing through a sheet of cardboard, making it less fatiguing to use if you are cutting up a bunch of boxes. Recommend.
The retail price I think is a bit pricey. But finding an open box deal made it less painful, lol.
So far it works great for cutting card board boxes. I own a lot of RYOBI tools and I’m pleased with the overall all quality.
