I think the Matribox II represents a superb value at it's price point. For ease of use and connectivity options I don't think there is much (if any)

It does what I need.
I'm not a professional musician but this product was exactly what I was looking for. I just wish I had bought it earlier before buying a few other cheap pedals that are now replaced. I use this with both guitar and bass, with an external speaker/amp and also with headphones. I've also used the Mac software to program sounds and used it as an audio input for recording on the Mac.
