Nice simple Hygrometer
I bought 4 of these. 2 for myself and 2 for other family members. They are nice basic Hygrometers. Exactly what I was looking for. I set them out and let them stabilize and they all read the same. I even used the readings to calibrate my old analog hygrometer which as it turns out was off quite a bit. These are easy to reset and change from Celsius to Fahrenheit with a single button if you choose. Because of these I found my humidity lower than I thought it was. I have now corrected that. They came packaged well and even got here a day sooner than expected. A great deal. Don't be afraid to buy these. simple design
now I have to say I have got 8 of these so far and came back and got 4 more just the other day . my friend and I both like them I gave him two for xmas gift .. now lets take a good look .. one cost . these are priced fair for what they are .. you get what you pay for ... simple design . what I was looking for is simple . I got a lot of things that take hours to set up and that gets to be a real pain in the you know what after a few times .. not with these ! ... I set then and they work .. now some of the replies here said they don't all read the same or some are off a few 10ths of a degree . that would most likely be a normal range of variation ,as a X navy Quarter Master trained in weather ops . I find them easy to use and reliable see this as a issues if there is a difference in reading from one to another .the idea you can focus on any time span and isolate high and lows in a given area and pinpoint peaks and lows and when those happen is priceless and the real reason I have come back and got more of these . they work great and that data is worth 5 times what they cost me ...I have been using all types for more then 38 years and now we don't use any other type . I don't work for this company and I am not paid for my review I did this review because I out right enjoy the product and it saves me a lot of money and time ..and when your not wasting your money and time your not fighting with all the things that could have gone wrong because the item did what it should ...works and work well ! 100% cost effective !if you want to try a few other types I have a box full of junk that never lasted or just stopped working and cost me time and money , but these every one is still working correctly and that is why I wrote this review , thank you for making a great product !Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Why Humidity Matters - A Simple Tool
It’s important to know what your environment is like for both health and comfort for you and your building. A simple monitor can make that task easy, but need not be a major expense. This product cost about 1/8 of a similar product that I purchased in a local store. It displays both the current and min/max values for temperature in F/C along with relative humidity. It can be reset to test for a short period of time if you wanted to check only a 24hr period. While the unit is NOT backlit that has not been a problem in ambient room lighting. It has a foldout stand or can be wall mounted. I have more than one unit and while I had one that was off of calibration a bit the seller was quick to replace the defective unit. I have not had any other issues and find it a good value, functional and easy to read at a glance for checking the readings.

I have compared the new hygrometers with my old one that I considered accurate. Within a few days, all three instruments were in sync in a room that has a dehumidifier running during the summer months. I also use them to check the temperature settings of my two refrigerators.
