Great tablet
This Acer tablet is FAST. It has 4G of Ram and surfing online is effortless. No lag in videos or accessing websites. The processor has been able to handle multiple tasks without issue or any slowness. The voice to text and built in keyboard make typing easy. The fact it has a stylus where you can write your words and they change to text was a surprise and I use that feature often. The cameras are not the best, but I didn't buy this for the cameras. However, I have not tried the cameras outside - the change in lighting may make a difference in end result. The tablet is lightweight, the stylus fits snugly into it's holder and the touch screen is very responsive. I bought this for traveling and it will be perfect. I won't need to drag my laptop along and for what I need to do online while traveling, this tablet fits the bill. Great battery, lightweight tablet. Better than using just an android tablet.
This works great for the main purpose that i bought it for which is to take notes with Squid. The batter life is better than I expected and i leave the screen on the majority of the day. The reason for the three is 1) the lack of power. It is not that great for opening a bunch of tabs. Also I love that it has a built in stylus. However i wish the location was on the right side and towards the top vs left side at the bottom. That is just because of the way I hold it. A good start
I would recommend this tablet as a starter Chrome OS device, if you can get it for $150 or less. It has a very nice screen and runs well. It can run Linux and Apps from the Google play store. On the down side the wireless component isn't that great. Great little tablet. Runs Chrome OS, Android and Linux, all three. New ones are a bit pricey, but if you can get a used one for less, go for it. ... this is awesome. I was thinking of upgrading to the duet, and I came from Windows c630 from Lenovo. This thing shoots above its class. It's not the fastest smoothest thing the world but it's getting better with updates. And it's a very good value.
