Good and cheap CPU for testing x99 motherboards.
I picked this cheap Xeon up because I came across a Rampage V Extreme that was priced too good to pass up but I didn’t have a CPU for it. Well the Xeon E5-2620 v3 runs well and it performs basic tasks just fine. I was able to boot the system with the RVE up and had no issues. All cores run at 2.6ghz despite the CPU being listed at 2.4ghz. I tried to raise the multiplier to 30 but the OS still runs the CPU at 2.6ghz.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
