    PERFECT strings for short scale acoustic bass!!!

    31" scale acoustic bass.had muddy sound because of string silk wrap resting on the bridge and the scale was too long as well. These have the diameter turning down just past the nut so that you aren't trying to wrap the full E string size around the tuning post. And there's no silk wrap at all so all problems solved!
