nice kettle
i replaced a black and decker rapid boil after a few years of good service this is a bit louder probably because the b&d was the plastic model--the lid finally broke at the hinge-- the speed of the boil is pretty fast--about 7 minutes from 60 degrees to boil the fill, and pour spout are a bit nicer than the b&d if i get a couple of years out of it i will be happyVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

This electric kettle lives up to its reputation as a good value. It boils water very quickly. The only problem with it is that it is out of balance when it is full of water so that the kettle tips forward rather than just straight up when it is lifted off the hot plate.
