Very happy with this unit!
The review is a bit biased because I got a wicked good deal on this unit but even at regular price this is a very nice unit with all the features I wanted - slider faders instead of knobs, some built in EFX and the ability to patch together my entire studio. The only bad thing about this unit is the manual is all but useless. It gives a few diagrams of how you might hook it up. There is very little info about the rest of the features but there are plenty of videos online to help with that. Behringer Always Delivers !
I've always had a special place in my heart for the Behringer brand. My first mixer was the 802 which I still use. I like the earthiness, grit, and warmth of the Behringer sound. Although I have used the products that starts with "M" they can sound sterile at least to me. You only have one other channel with the 802. Enter the XENYX 1204. It has decent on-board compression that sound great, if used sparingly along with pre and post fader buttons which are great for mix-minus. It has a sturdy build, the faders and knobs are great and doesn't feel cheap to the touch. If you like your audio to have some.
