Good GE Part
Was shipped quickly and arrived in a box labeled GE. Installing was easy and first run has been good. I can't say anything about longevity yet. This did not fix my dishwasher.
The Rubber boots to seal the heating element against the plastic tub bottom were much smaller that the original heating element. I had use reuse the original boots along with the new ones to get it to fit. plastic nuts to fasten heating element did not screw on very easily. The heating element did not seem to be pre-threaded for the nuts. The new element did pass a continuity test, so it was good. Either does not work or does not put out enough heat to dry items on top rack of the dishwasher. I also replaced the temp limit sensor as recommended as part of the repair.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent value heating element for my dishwasher
I was really looking for a whirlpool heating element with specific details on getting the resistance since the mfg substitute one was higher leading to my dishes not drying properly. Damaged part from shipping
Item was damaged and one nut was missing due to shipping. Box was flattened and both spade terminals and wires were bent at a 90 degree angle. I was able to straighten both terminals and reused one of the old nuts. On future shipments nuts should be secured to terminals to prevent damage and falling out of box. Dishwasher Heating Element and Fasteners
Heating element was the right part as ordered and it works. The only recommendation I have is in the packaging, the two plastic fasteners that come with the heating element were loose in the box and the box had a tear where the fasteners could of dropped out. Gets too hot!
I had this part installed in my dishwasher and it is getting way too hot! It has burnt the plastic underneath the element towards the front of the dishwasher. The part was described as a direct replacement part for my dishwasher. However, it is not OE standards, because the repairman used the original metal tabs that held the old heating element and it never caused any damage to the dishwasher plastic until now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not a good product for the price
Came in a cheap plastic bag. When I opened the package the prongs were both bent pretty bad. When I tried to straighten the prongs the one wire terminal snapped off. Had to fix prong to be able to use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
