These are GoPro batteries, and they work great! I have purchased knock-off batteries that fit in my GoPro HERO 7, and that are touted to work, various names ... Worth buying the 'official' GoPro batteries
I bought a GoPro Hero 6 black and several aftermarket batteries for it but the batteries wouldn't hold a charge (even GOOD aftermarket ones); the power levels would drop from 100% down to zero in a matter of minutes. I thought it was the camera and was about to sell it but then I got the 'official' GoPro batteries and they work fine. They still drain relatively quickly (about 1% per minute of filming in 1080p/60fps) but it's a big improvement. New GoPro battery for Hero5
After 7 yrs, my original battery can only hold charge for a few hours. The new battery last much longer but still fails to last longer than 4 hours while recording time-lapse video. This short time of holding its charge maybe due to recent software upgrade by GoPro that may not be appropriate for my old Hero5.
