I've been using Doctor's BrushPicks for several years. The only thing I use Toothpicks for now is on my hors d'oeuvres plate! Dr's. BrushPicks can get in to tight little crevices (like over or under a bridge) that Toothpicks canNOT. Dr's. Brush picks don't get soggy. Toothpicks DO. Dr's. BrushPicks are flexible. I have been using these brush picks for years. There are several reasons why these picks are far superior to anything else I have tried - including regular flossing. The primary reason is that the brush end of the pick is so thin that it can be easily inserted between the teeth (and I have very tight teeth) and go all the way through so you can push any debris between the teeth through the gap. In addition you can easily move the pick in and out in a very effective scrubbing action without any major discomfort. With other brands, both the pick and brush ends are too thick and cannot be worked through the gap, are typically very uncomfortably tight and get damaged very easily having to use three of four picks to get the job done. With these picks, one pick will get the full job done and if you were inclined to do so, you could actually get a second cleaning out of them.
