Extremely handy, but too big
Great for hiking. I can easily fit my phone, some tissues, a small snack (like a granola bar or similar), and my keys in this pack. With several compartments, I can keep it all separate, too. The water bottle holder is wonderful. Fits a standard disposable plastic bottle of water to perfection. Works best with shorter bottles than tall, taller ones are a bit awkward. I have a shorter and fatter steel bottle that fits great.
My only complaint is that I can't adjust it to be small enough. I'm not a tiny person around the waist, but the smallest it goes is still just a bit too big. I plan to sew it eventually, but am using safety pins right now, which works. I don't think most people have to worry about whether or not it's too small! I don't know my waist size in inches, but I typically wear a size 8 pant if that helps. When I make this as small as it goes, my hips barely keep the thing on, and I am constantly feeling like it's slipping down.
For the price, it's pretty great. Not bulky, but will expand if you want to stuff it full. I like this versus a backpack because it won't cause shoulder or neck pain/discomfort.
If you have a big phone with a super bulky case, it could be a challenge to fit. Length-wise you're fine (the inner most pocket runs the whole length, seats up against your body). Width-wise it could be tight. Since there is some flex with this, most cases should fit fine. I'd say that all current market phones will fit, it's the case that could cause an issue.Read full review
