I have been involved in using Wix filters for my than 40 years .I was a Diesel engine rebuild mechanic with a large open pit mining company, where Wix filters were used on all our engines. I was the person that rebuilt these engines, and I seen first hand how these filters kept the internal engine parts clean, that lead to longer engine life, before it would need an expensive rebuild. I personally use Wix filters on anything I own that has a oil filter on it. They might be just a little more expensive to buy , but in the long run it will save you money and less down time .

The same size as the original filter. A heavy duty beefy filter and Wix has a good reputation. Most of the replacement filters are smaller and seem light duty. I'll stick with this one.

I like wix filter. There are made in USA. This are little expensive but worth the price. My choices are wix, mobil1, and puralator pure one. I'm not fan of fully synthetic media filters so I like these over wix xp and others. My OCI are no more then 6k.
