Works for new low-cost gaming build Win7, Linux Mint 18.3/19.3, Win10 all work fine Faster than my other procs and such low price. Mobo with this CPU is picky about RAM speeds of 3200, but 3000 works fine. Probably, a weird combination of RAM, Mobo and CPU that won't reach 3200. VColor 3200-RAM works at 3200, but it is the only 3200-rated RAM I found that would. But the Ryzen series ..... The best ! This is the lowest Ryzen you can get and it rocks. Don't listen to what anyone says, this can do whatever you need and I've tried it. Twitch, youtube, photoshop, streaming of any kind, it does it all. Dont get more CPU if you don't need to, get this one!

Awesome CPU for a Starter PC. I upgraded my sons PC from an aging AM3 platform. I got a deal on some ram, a B450 mobo and reused things such as GPU,PSU, case and HDS. All I needed was this little CPU. At time of this writing, they are circulating used on Ebay from 50-80$ depending on usage, and if it comes with a box cooler or not etc. Its a 4 core, no hyperthreading or SMT 3.1Ghz chip. It tends to OC well on ratio and BCLK. I run mine around a 101.5Mhz BCLK and a 35.0 ratio with minimal voltage or other tweaks. Good little quad to slip in until you can grab a bigger and better Ryzen!
