This keyboard is perfect for the iPad, makes it very similar to a laptop. Definitely not a MacBook but if you prefer iPads over laptops this is perfect. I love the setup and functions of an iPad over a laptop, so this is a great way to type up stuff as I would with a laptop but with features I’d prefer instead. Would recommend!

Apple Magic Keyboard for ipad pro 12.9 4th generation allows much better use of ipad pro. I found it better than any similar item available in the market. A major drawback though lack of support for taking notes or writing with stylus. For this much money, that major feature should be there.

If an iPad is used like a laptop with a lot of typing then this keyboard is a must have. I had Apple's Smart Keyboard folio, which was ok for typing for a while but the difference with this keyboard is really huge. I am not talking about the built in trackpad which transforms the iPad's functionality. The keyboard feeling is really great. You'll make fewer mistakes while typing and you'll never get tired of it. The extra usb-c port which may work as a charging port is great too as it frees the main port of the iPad for extra connections. The downside: Apart from expensive, it's heavy and with the iPad attached to it it's like holding a laptop in your hands. The second downside is that you may not flip it entirely. So if you want to use the iPad as a book to read then you have to detach it from the keyboard completely.Read full review
