Entertaining modern horror flick about a group of scientists and entomologists who travel to the South American jungles in search of new species of insects and spiders. While searching in an isolated and completely remote part of the rain forest, they accidentally discover more than they planned. A new variety of spider bites one of the scientists and he dies. His body is packed up and shipped back to the U.S. but the deadly spider hitches a ride home with him. When he arrives, his body is all green and shriveled up like a mummy. Perplexed by this situation, the local coroner doesn't know what to think. At the same time, a doctor and his wife move move from San Francisco to this small town to take over a practice that is being retired by an older doctor. The deadly spider which has escaped from the dead man's coffin turns out to be some "super spider" which sets up a web and lays thousands of eggs. Various people begin to die, but nobody yet has made the connection with the spider. Soon, there are thousands of these creatures everywhere. All efforts to eradicate the nest are futile, until it is finally discovered inside the new doctor's barn. After the queen is killed and entomologists are sure that the problem is solved, the doctor and his family decide that they really rather live in the city and go back to San Francisco. As the movie ends, they are unpacking some moving boxes and while nobody is watching, a spider crawls out and scurries off. This is a creepy film. . . I hate spiders!Read full review
Rule in this great buggy movie..ok spiders aren't bugs..I have a deep fear of spiders, but I talked my Partner into watching "Snakes On A Plane" and she fears them so I owed her..I loved this film Julian Sands was excellant as Dr. Atherton..the handsome bloke with the killer english accent..he plays the College professor who discovers the rare arachnids and unknowngly sends one to the States from Venazueala, (bet there was some crushes in his classroom)..I wont give away this film if you haven't seen it then watch it don't let your fear of spiders stop you I'm glad I didn't..orginaly labeled a thrillomedy for it's mix of thrills and comedy this movie definetly delivers..give it a look see even if you have to watch between your fingers, you'll be glad you did!Read full review
Arachnophobia is a excellent classic creepy crawler flick for horror fans into the non human killer. I enjoyed this movie as a teenager and still as a adult. I bought it new at a used movie price. Glad to add it to my collection 💀.

I like the movie as I've seen it before and wanted it for my collection, this copy looks store new yet the format is smaller as if it was an HD Streamed copy so I had to Max-out the picture size, stamp on back says made in Mexico......I've never see than before. I'll keep the movie though. I'll look for another original.
