I love the classic cartoons. This movie is a tribute to those, old, animated shorts. The cartoons of the 1930s and 1940s were the best ever. Somewhere in the early 1950s, Hollywood forgot how to make funny cartoons. They became crude and boring. Cost cutting ruined them. The old masters were geniuses at the craft. Woody Woodpecker, Popeye, Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and many more characters could make you laugh out loud. "Who Killed Roger Rabbit" tries to capture the classics and it does a pretty good job of it.

A mix of cartoon imagery with on screen actors sets this film appart from all others. As the actors portray a superior role vs the tunes. Rodger finds himself caught up in a scandle and he must survive in what is a very suspensful yet comedic journey to find out Who framed him.

Excellent animation/live action film for the whole family! The special effects is well done for 1988 by director Steven Spielberg and a good storyline. On Blu Ray, the picture and sound is outstanding on the big screen.

I had been waiting for this to be released again, it had not been since 2003 since released last time on DVD for the 15th anniversary. I still love the film. Great characters, memorable lines and scenes I can replay. "Oh Honey Bunny". "Oh Love Cup". The singing sword. Donald & Daffy. Now, there are a bunch of extras BUT NO NEW EXTRAS. Disappointing. 25th anniversary release & NOTHING NEW. Cheap discs with NO art work on them.
I remember when this came out. Maybe the best blend of live action and animation ever done. Just a great movie.
