Installation was simple. The screen is lit all the time,and features the actual room temperature in large letters, whereas a competitor displays the "set to" temperature. And voice command works nicely. The phone app takes a bit of getting used to, and is not the most intuitive on the market, but it works.

The thermostats work great and were not hard to install. I already had the extra wire so I can't say what would be involved if you need the c-wire adapter. I installed two as I have two forced air furnaces. You need a smartphone and Wi-Fi.

I’m coming from a Google nest thermostat . It was too complicated to use and always would run Eco mode making it too hot or cold. I bought this Amazon thermostat and it has been a great so far. It does a good job of regulating the temperature and is very easy to use 10 out of 10 would recommend.
