Needed some work
My father and I both have 2005 GMC 3500 duallys. This claimed to fit. It does NOT. I had to modify the stock intake pipe, by cutting it. The hard plastic intake pipe supplied by the K &N kit was about 6 inches short. I measured the distance and cut the stock pipe. This kit then easily fit my truck. The instructions leave a bit to be desired, but even with the modifications the whole project took 25 minutes. My immediate findings are a 1.8 mpg increase. At current diesel prices, it will pay for itself in 1200 miles..
