I've had this installed on my 09 Dodge 6.7 for approximately 2 months. Straight out of the box you'll notice how sloppy the post of switch is. The wiring and connections are decent and the bracket that mounts to the shifter is cut and finished well.... Then you start the engine and wonder why you spent so much money to clamp a baby's rattle toy to your shifter.
The shear noise this generates under all RPMs will drive you mad. I looked online for solutions, it seems everyone has accepted these switches are garbage. The most common fix is a rubber band or a hair tie from the shifter to the switch plunger. Reluctantly I did just that. It's now quiet enough to drive, but still rattles under load.
It gets better though! For the past two weeks I've been having intermittent problems with my exhaust brake engaging. Now finally has failed all together. The cause of the failed exhaust brake? This garbage they call a switch. Do not buy, make your own, twist two wires together for a switch before you waste your money on this. They didn't even put the BD sticker on flat!
The ebay seller I purchased this from was top notch, the transaction went great. Unfortunately this is just a poor product from a reputable manufacturer.
