Our bodies cannot retain great amounts of vitamin C and if a person takes too much, she may have loose stool and stomach upset. This type of vitamin C has a fat substance emulsified into the vitamin c (there is probably a better way to say this, but I am a lay person). Since many hospitals resist IV vitamin C, this is the only other way for a person to take very high doses of vitamin C, if that person feels she needs it (I cannot say why she would use it, since the FDA might take down this review). I also will not say, "who," but there is a fine doctor who also sells this supplement, but unless you score a sale (rare on his site), this is the least expensive liposomal vitamin C.
