The Apple Trackpad 2 improves upon the first. It has a couple more tricks up its sleeve but still feels familiar. I needed the extra couple of features like the one touch hold and move. I don't have a mouse at my desk anymore. This seems way more intuitive once you've learned the gestures. I'm sure programming one of the new Logitech Masters offer similar options. For me, the trackpad offers a better zoom than anything else. Pinch in or Push out. The best. The increased surface area is great and the texture is a little different. I like it. Great purchase. Looks great at my work desk.
What can I saw, it is made by Apple for Apple. I have 3 of these but wanted gray one to match the excellent gray full size keyboard. These will actually attach to you mac with a cable in case bluetooth is wonky, and it is on old Mac Pro's with USB 3 cards and anything attached to it..
I have been in the computer world using laptops for 20 years now. I have used windows, Mac, and Chromebook trackpads and Apple has never had anyone come close to theirs before. This trackpad takes the amazing design and makes it stand alone! It is amazing and well worth the value. The only thing that would make it better is Touch ID support.
I purchased this to use with my iPad Pro 12.9" now that iOS supports it. The Magic Trackpad works great with the iPad Pro and allows me to do things very similar to the way I do them on my MacBook Pro. It works pretty much flawlessly and lets me keep from having to touch my screen all the time. Like all Apple products it is sleek, made very well and fits in with the aesthetics of the Apple line perfectly. I think anyone wanting a more computer-like experience would enjoy using it.
This works really well. I dont normally use the one on my laptop because it doesnt work well with my fingers so i use a mouse instead. I got this because they are getting hard to find in space gray and am really suprised at how well it works for me.
