This is a pre-owned wireless NIC and for the price, I hoped it would work without any problems. As a new one would only be another $10. This came with a high gain antenna set up which is a bonus. There are reviews on the web stating some people having problems with their PC restarting after shutdown because of a wake-from-LAN signal coming from this NIC. I did not have this problem but I don't wake my PC from LAN and that was switched off in BIOS. Installed the driver (HUGE 1GB download from Asus - because its filled with bloatware) just choose to install the driver after the huge download. Powered down and installed the NIC, and I was up and running! After reading reviews I’m glad I trusted Asus. My windows 10 did not ask for any drivers, installing them for me. There must have been generic drivers built into my windows 10 or something. The antenna assembly sends and receives at almost full signal strength though my router is approximately 40 meters away with no line-of-sight. Amazing. Five of five stars earned by Asus.

I would only recommend this guy if you are certain you have the right MPCIe slot for it, or you use it as a card in PCIe slot. One size does not fit all; it will not fit the standard or half size MPCIe slots nor does it come with long enough antennae wires to take it from your motherboard to the back of the case. Works well once installed though.
