Today's locomotives don't do much for me overall, but I decided to purchase the Catipillar 1201 and one in the blue/black/silver scheme, 1202. Athearn and Walthers are the only ones for now, who offer the SD70ACE in ho. Athearn's is better detailed than Walthers but pricier. Mine is without sound/dcc as its for display only. The paint job is excellent. Handrails are fragile and proper handling of locomotive is important.
