Great for program/DJ music but...
Good value, solidly built, good looks. ((>>NOTICE<<)) If you're thinking about using it for live band application such as running a kick drum mic straight into this unit to boost your kick drum output live, you WILL NOT get good results. I know because that's what I bought it for and despite it's 1,200 watt power rating you can barely here it. Works punchy loud and great from laptop-to-preamp into this unit but not good for live. But I've found a way to boost the signal from the kick mic; I run the kick mic into my clean boost guitar pedal then out of the pedal into the input of this unit and boom it works beautifully! Nice and deep and loud! But careful with the booster level or you'll get feedback and worst case you may blow the unit's power amp!. You'll need an adapter (XLR to quarter inch jack) to run the xlr mic cable from your kick drum mic into the booster. here's my setup. DO THIS SET UP AT YOUR OWN RISK OF VOIDING THE WARRANTY IF YOU USE TOO MUCH BOOST AND BLOW IT UP!

NIce little sub!
It delivers a deeper bass than I expected from a twelve inch. Not TOO loud, but powerful enough to really put out a nice full bottom end for a medium sized system. Simple and easy to connect. Perfect match to my 12 inch tops.
Got 2 of these to round out my sound. I coupled them and holy crap they sound amazing. I'm running them at -10bd testing and still at times are a bit to loud. As a mobile entertainer weight matters, these are doable. No problem keeping up with the tops either, I highly recommend.
