BEWARE BOOTLEG!!!! This is NOT authentic Walt Disney. The DVDs have blurry covers (in the photo, the top Gold Collection DVD is authentic - see how blurry the set below is? - BOOTLEG!), when played they are blurry and the music slightly distorted. There are no Disney previews/commercials, as all Disney movies have. There are also no chapter selections based on scenes (only 4 "chapters" per movie and not starting or ending at any particular scenes), no credits and such either. 100% BOOTLEG!

24 Disney Classics, many of them hard to find because of their age, and the fact that Disney only made them available occasionally for limited release. Here they all are in one collection and they make for memorable viewings. I enjoy the older ones, especially, because they are richer in their story telling. Disney did not censor their characters' images or actions at that time, not worried about offending some viewers' sensibilities. They tell a story, convey a message, and leave you with definite feelings from the experience. Many of these stories could not be made today without softening the important points of the story for fear of offending some social group or other. Too bad. That is the point of story telling. Uncle Remus and Song of the South could not be made today. Too bad, there were some powerful messages in that film, just like Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty. Pinocchio or even Dumbo. Softened images and CGI spectacles stir emotions but they lack the potency and message of a story well told. All sizzle but no steak. Disney's storytelling talent still stands out.
