Easy to install, but you need to install the app to make it work. ,Somewhat difficult to set up schedule on my phone as it includes the comfort zone, which had time conflicts with my night an day schedule. Finally figured out I could delete the comfort settings. I think these timing conflicts kept the thermostat from turning the AC on. I wired my old thermostat so I could run my AC again in the meantime. Then I reinstalled the Nest and it now works perfect.

I love my Google Nest thermostat from eBay. It's easy to install and control with the Nest app. It works seamlessly with my other smart home devices. Although there were minor issues, they were quickly resolved. I highly recommend it for managing your home's temperature.

After many years as a nest owner (2 in a large home) One if them finally quit working. Actually the base went bed and apparently the base contains some sensors. I'll get a new base right? Wrong. Base for my model no longer available. So I buy this new Nest and get it hooked. I just to say after Google bought Nest they have really screwed it up. Now I have to use google home to control the new one and the old nest app to control the old one. WTF? It took way longer to configure the new one than I ever spent on the old ones. I wish I could just get a base for my old one. AND, I don't want Google to be collecting data on my thermostat settings. I will now replace both of them with a WIFI thermostat that isn't connected to Google.

Accurate self learning thermostat. Nice that you can control from your smart phone and Google Nest Hub. My old thermostat stopped working well and ate through batteries. I recommend this Nest Thermostat.

Great product was very happy . If you have a simple heating system watch a few videos on how to get power / constant power to the thermostat .

I have a heating system with "microvolt" two-wire thermostats and Google was not able to provide a way yo use a Nest on the this simple system. So I bought a used 1st-gen Nest to experiment. First, I don't have 24V power at the thermostat (runs for over a year on two AAAs), so I had to buy a simple 24VAC adapter (could be a $5 option from Google, nut noooooo...) Then I needed an $8 24V relay so the Nest can switch the heater control without pumping 24V into the system. Trying to find an actual wiring schematic for the Nest was maddening - a million useless YouTubes though. But in the end, I have a heating control I can run remotely. I left the regular thermostat hooked up in parallel, because Google don't know winter

The manufacturer (Google), did not provide good detailed set-up and operational instructions with the device (Google Nest Smart Thermostat 2020 Model and therefore becomes hard to use. I believe the device is of good quality however cannot get it to operate so maybe not.

The poor thing tries to control the heat, but my AC is working right. It will run and run to get the temp down; then it's almost like the AC warms back up. Things were fine with my old controller, but being in a wheelchair, I wanted more control. I had a "Pro" install it, back again that day. For two days, I ran the heater, worked like a champ. Next two days I kept having them back to fix it. It's still not working as it should. I think it works great or will once the A C is fixed.

Installed easily, works perfectly. The smart functions help me keep electric bills down. Best of all it looks great on my wall. Well worth looking into.
