Really good value for a surfer
I like the size of it. The battery seems to be lasting well and the screen is fabulous! For me, this one kicks butt on my ipad! I love that the back, home and other buttons are always visible. And its fast! I'm very happy with this purchase.

I love my Fire HD 10
I got this to replace the Fire HD 8 I had lost. I mainly use it to read books. I like for my books to be "ready" when I pick it up to read. Most tablets will not las a full day. These Amazon tablets will. Of course with the screen size I stream. For me The HD 8 was too small to stream. This one is perfect to watch in bed. The battery does go down then but with the extra long charging cables provided that is not a problem. I love this tablet.

Got exactly as described.
I was so amazed with the details of the pictures quality even for a cracked screen. It really didn't bother me. Was able to shake the device in lined, with what was shown on the pictures with the volume button and now works perfectly fine. Got, a temper glass so my finger wouldn't be rubbing on the broken pieces. I'm planning on fixing it but it's good for now. The savings of this used one compared to a brand new one, was actually an good experience for me. So, thrilled with the 32 gb & had an 32 gb micro memory chip laying around so it brought it up to an 64 gb memory.

Descriptions can be disceiving
Overall the Kindle was a good value and operates as expected. The use of the term "Cracked Screen" does not describe the condition of the screen. A better terminology would be "Shattered Screen".

Kindle Fire HD 10.1" 7th gen tablet.
It's a beautiful unit with extremely good resolution- my wife loves it. The only drawback seems to be keeping the battery charged. We have some longer USB cables (for ease of use), but apparently the unit draws too much current & the line drop prevents it from charging correctly.Kindle Fire HD 10.1" 7th generation

GREAT DEVICE
I loved my Kindle Fire 8, wore it out actually. Decided to go for the 10, I love it too! Easier to see things. It is heavier and more difficult to hold for long term reading, then I use one of those wedge pillow holders.

When I received the item, I liked the condition of the tablet. Currently I am using it very satisfactorily. But there is one thing I misunderstood. I understand that 'the original packaging' comes with the same components as the new product. So I was embarrassed that I get a tablet without a charger. It would have been better if it had a charger ... but it's okay. Satisfies. Thank you.
