These are by far the best bang for your buck 6x9's Ive ever heard. The high end is smooth and after the break in period the bass is tight and deep, that is, if your using them full range. I'm using them in a 2.1 setup using a Class-D amplifier board using a high-pass crossover set to around 80hz powered with about 60 watts each and in this configuration they come close to PA speaker territory in loudness without a hint of distortion. They sound much better than they have any right to at this price point but there are some issues. All three pairs I bought had the same issue which was that the center pole piece holding the mid/tweeter pod was loose on all six speakers. And because they were loose one of the six had broken its pole during shipping. I didn't buy theme here at amazon so return shipping with the company I had bought them from was going to be a hassle. So I simply applied superglue to the broken one and it was as good as new. To fix the loose poles, go to the bottom of the magnet and right in the center under the sticker there will be a large Philips head screw. You can remove the sticker or stab through it, I cut around the screw head with a razor. Then gently grab the center tweeter pod and adjust it to where its completely level. Take your screwdriver and tighten the screw to where the tweeter pod is firm and wont move around anymore and fixed! Another thing is these speakers do not come with speaker grills, I got the ones pictured from a company called Magnadyne. But if you intend to use them as factory replacement speakers then that point is moot. I really wish that the quality control on this speaker were more up to par, I mean they are very well built in every other aspect (like no excess glue, quality components used, nothing way offset ect...), but that tweeter pod pole was loose on ALL of them. So I'm docking a star on that aspect but its an easy enough fix that I'm sticking to 4 stars because for the money they're just that good. Other than that its a great looking and great sounding speaker!Read full review

One of the speakers was like it was blown it sounded awful and scratchy but the other one worked fine! I only needed okne speaker so I didn't return it or go through the hassle. Would have been 5 stars but I got sent a blown speaker!😡😆 had both been bad I would've have to return it but I doubt many people will have that problem. Good quality sounding speaker for the price. By far! The one was 😆

Paired with q power 6x9 boxes..pushed with just the head unit and they sound great! They lack a lil in the bass(could be my head unit) but my sub covers that. Over all I would definitely recommend these. Especially for the price! Received a day early.

I have a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500 single cab and these speakers are loud as hell. Bass is not bad but not great either. Didn't matter because I listen to classic rock and this sounds so clear with little to no distortion. I like them and they were cheap. Thinking of buying more as a reserve and panel steakers as well. I'm happy with this choice.
