Great scooter when it is working, but breaks down easy, broken 2 times in less than 6 months, control board is JUNK
It is a nice scooter when it works...but it doesn't last worth beans. I bought it brand new...put the extra battery on it, and instantly if the lights were on the scooter practically wouldn't work, would only go about 3mph. So had to have the control board replaced. Once I replaced the control board it worked perfectly good for about 5 months, or 220 miles. Then the motor broke or control board broke again, motor started making grinding noise when braking and going, and felt like it was a ribbed tire now that it rolls very bumpy, and goes very slow. Now have to send it in to get fixed again. Scooter is great when working normally, just wish it wouldn't break down so easy. Got es1 and it seemed slow, then the es2, big difference fast and plenty of torque with extended battery ,with more range, very fun.would definitely recommend getting extended battery,you will notice the difference ,plenty of torque .I was going 18 mph uphill ! Goes 19 mph with extra battery . Cruise control set at 19 is fun . Extra battery ads weight though. Worth it. Suspension on es2 seems a lot better than es1. Good only after es4 upgrade
Quite anemic as a single battery es2. Woke up somewhat after es4 upgrade. Waiting for forthcoming cfw release. Xiaomi m365 utility does not work for this scooter, must be different comm protocol. Anyway, a worthy buy, though there is no cell mount available yet.

Good in the beginning but gets bad after awhile.
The ES2 is a good commuter scooter for the first 4 weeks I had it. But then I ran into multiple issues when trying to fix it. Once after you hit 500 miles on the vehicle, the battery gets really bad and shuts of in the middle of a ride. If you ride your vehicle on the sidewalk a lot the front wheel gets pretty worn out causing it to become very unsafe to ride when hitting 16 mph. Very Fast ! Up to 20 MPH!!!!!
The LED headlight reduces speed and power when on. Even the manufacture knows of this problem. So I leave it off when riding. Also, don't try to ride in cold weather because battery doesn't hold charge for long and of course you knew that.
