Imagine I’d love it if I could get it installed
Sadly I haven’t found any where that will actually install this system because apparently compustar doesn’t make this exact model anymore so I’ve tried multiple times at multiple places to have it installed, shouldn’t be that difficult but for some reason, it is! Been told many reasons why but the most common is bc the installer can’t get the install schematic from compustar, since you can’t find it online anywhere since they don’t make this model anymore! This is what I was told by an installer at Best Buy! If you have any luck or any suggestions, pls let me know This is nothing against the person or store who sold me this product! They were actually awesome and had the bypass set up for my car so installation would be easy, or that’s what they thought I guess! But they were great, and I imagine the system is great too, I just don’t know how to install it myself and can’t find anyone to install it for meVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Compustar cs8900-as remote start
This is up and running, doing just fine so far. Battery life in remote is really good. 1 mile range in real world, no, not gonna happen, however, the 2 way functionality is great as it is quite responsive. The distance, again, isn't "impressive" at ground level, but it is adequate. I am happy with this unit. I installed it on a 2006 GMC sierra 2500hd diesel.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
