Quite good except...
I bought this used, so that might be part of the reason for the problem I am having. Actually, there are two problems, both with the screen protector. 1. Skin oil collects on it over time, and after a while it starts to look gross. In certain lighting, it also makes the screen hard to read. In fairness, this seems to be a very common problem with many products, not just this one. The skin oil is easily cleaned using a micro fiber cloth. 2. More serious is the poor fit of the screen protector along the long edges of the screen. It doesn't sit flat on the screen. This causes problems any time you need to perform touch operations in those areas. You can press harder to overcome the gap, but not all apps tolerate that well. Except for these problems, this appears to be a solid, well engineered product. The fit (other than the problem discussed above) is very good, and all ports and controls are easy to access. It appears to be quite sturdy, and should protect my iPad Air 2 quite well (I didn't want to test that too strenuously, as you might well understand). The snap on/off cover doubles as a stand, and seems to work quite well. This is a great product
I love all of the defender line of otter box. I really love the way that this product stand up. I use the stand on my lap all the time. I also have found the case to be very durable. My wife does not like it, because it makes the swipe keyboard hard to use. It does take more pressure to use. It Fits!
It fit my iPad Air 2! The first iPad Air and the Air 2 are a hair different in size and placement of button - the iPad Air 1 case will fit both iPads but the buttons don't line up exactly if you have the wrong case. The first case I bought and used for my Air 2 for several years was for the Air 1 but I didn't realize it until I bought my Air 2 case and discovered how the case was REALLY supposed to fit. A "must have" item
I have an Otterbox defender series for both my ipad and phone. It adds some overall size and weight, but it is very good insurance against accidentally dropping it and keeping the dust out that can also cause damage. Of course it has its limitations, but for what it is designed to do, it does a great job. I went with the Otterbox brand due to its reputation and the fact they back their product. Comparison reviews also agree that the defender series does an excellent job in overall protection. After much research before buying the brand, I came to the same conclusion. Best defense for iPad
First off my iPad is used in the auto industry checking diagnostic codes when they pop up. This environment isn't exactly tablet friendly being that most of the floors are concrete and a fall is from the height of the car seat if not the height of a 4x4 truck. Plus all the grease on my hands bits of rust, dust and other abrasives aren't exactly a tablets best friend, a swipe here or a double tap there and eventually you are trying to see through scratched or cracked glass. This Otterbox Defender has helped me to avoid all of that and keep my iPad looking like new which helps when I trade it in for a new one. Otter box defender
This arrived early wrapped in plastic without it’s original box and without it’s instructions. I had to reference YouTube on how to put it together. It is an excellent product and this was a great value as it was cheaper than buying it new. My only dislike is that it is actually 2 pieces. In order to stand the iPad up you have to place it into a separate stand piece. That stand piece can be snapped over the entire iPad when you’re not using the iPad but you still have to keep track of two separate pieces.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

OtterBox for iPad Air 2
This is my second OtterBox. First one was on my iPhone 6s Plus. Superb protection. The best for the money...that I’ve used. I recently dropped my iPad with a Taurus clam shell cover/protector. It is NOT a protector and cracked the screen, badly. Had it repairs and immediately purchased the OtterBox. Get one, you will not be sorry. PS: I would like to see more angle adjusting positions.
